We are hosting a fundraiser at the Mirage Nightclub this Friday June 19th to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. Tickets are $10 with a free drink included.

Some really amazing prizes to be won from raffle, and we hope you can all make it out for a great cause!

Awearness: A night of fashion and art for The Leukemia Society of Western Canada

On behalf of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of the Western region of Canada, I would like to extend to you an invitation to take part in the AWEAR-NESS event, a night of fashion to raise funds and awareness for Leukemia and related cancers. The event will be held at (undetermined venue), in Vancouver, British Columbia.
This is the first AWEAR-NESS event to be held in British Columbia, and we hope for it not to be the last.

Every year, hundreds of thousands of people across the world are affected directly or indirectly by Leukemia. Whether it be a mother, daughter, father, son, best friend, or co-worker, leukemia has left a devastating impact on many people across the world. It is expected that at least 14,000, or one person every 40 minutes will be diagnosed within the next year, and about half of which will die of leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma.

Although the statistics are devastating, there are more and more people living with and surviving leukemia today, and by participating in this one night, we can help contribute to the growing numbers of survivors. By bringing the community together for this great cause, we are creating awareness of leukemia and increasing the pace of blood cancer research.

Lilou Productions was founded by Lindsey Whittaker, in an attempt to start a production company aimed toward coordinating fashion related charity events.

The company is well up and on it's way to being a stellar success in it's first event AWEARNESS, a charity fashion show benefiting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
